Tracking A Specific Aircraft

Fri Apr 11, 2003 2:38 am

I am having a difficult time figuring out the whereabouts of a certain aircraft.

I don't seriously want to know it's EXACT location, I was jsut wondering if it is still in service, and with what airliner, and what other routes it may be flying.

I am looking for these aircraft:

N882US

I found a site that lists MD-80's and if it is correct, as of 12/12/02, AA was still flying both N429AA (MD-82 delivered 12/23/86), and N288AA (MD-82 delivered 8/16/85). If appropriate, the spreadsheet would have shown codes if a plane had been retired or sold off, but no codes were listed. Hope that helps.

Since US parked their F100s, I don't think anybody has taken them up. All N882US may be doing is collecting dust in VCV, Mojave, or Marana...
