Germania Fleet & Route Info Required

Mon Apr 14, 2003 11:34 pm

This German airline has been a player in the wet lease business for quite some time. I am interested to hear from you to which airlines their B737 and MD82/83 aircraft have been leased out. How many aircraft does Germania have in total. And on which routes are they planning to used their new F100's.

many thanks indeed

I guess most B737-700s are with HLX now (D-AGEL/N/P/Q/U/R/S/T).

With GOL of Brasil are: D-AGEM/V/W.

With Azurra Air D-AGEY/Z (will be returned).

B737-300 D-AGEK was returned from Olympic Airw. on April 2nd, 2003 (ex SX-BLB).

B737-300 D-AGEJ is busy with the TXL-MUC service.

The F100s will fly from MUC to PMI, NCE and LIS from July, 2003. Planned are Moscow, VIE, ZRH and HAM. I don´t know about the other routes for the F100s though.

That´s all I can do for you! If anybody knows more/better, please correct me!

Cheers, STEFAN

Most of the aircraft you refer to are not owned by Germania but by SAT-Flug, a leasing company owned by the same person who owns Germania (he also owns a couple of 737 outright).

The "GOL"-ones are now longer owned by Germania/SAT. They were sold to a leasing company (cannot remember which one) that leased them to GOL. My understanding is that Germania now has only ten -700s in its books, 8 leased to HLX and 2 to Azzurra Air.

One -300 (UR-GAH) was recently returned by Ukrainian and should be in Germania service shortly, together with D-AGEJ/K.

To the best of my knowledge, the Fokker 100s are, contrary to many reports, only leased and were not bought by Germania.
