Sars And Japan?

Wed Apr 16, 2003 12:16 am

I can get a VS flight x LHR for less than 400GBP in may and really fancy a trip to NRT for some spotting.

I'm just a little worried about SARS in the area,is Japan suffering or have some cases?

Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Well, as far as I know, Japan is one of the few "western" countries which didn't have SARS yet. But there are problems for several airlines, that Japanese Tourists don't want to travel abroad because of SARS and other current problems. That's why Swiss had to cancel one of it's NRT flight.

So far, Japan has been lucky in that it has had no cases of SARS
