B6 Aircraft Scheduling (Attn: JetBlue Employees)

Fri Apr 18, 2003 8:03 am

Hey all.

This question primarily concerns jetBlue employees.

I am aware that the scheduling of which jetBlue aircraft flies whatever route is completely random. I also am aware that the schedules for these aircraft and routes come out 2 days before any given flight.

I was curious to know, since I am flying B6 on Saturday, if any employee could look into the system and see which plane would be operating my flight?

I will be on:
jetBlue Airways
Flight: 49
Depart JFK: 5:25pm
Arrive FLL: 8:20pm
Saturday, April 19, 2003

A friend of my aunts worked for jetBlue, so I would be able to call him for the info, but my aunt and I have lost contact with him, so if any employee could check this out for me, I would heavily appreciate it.

Should you need to contact me, my email is:
jetBlueAirbusA320@yahoo.com

Thanks A Lot

If you don't mind me asking,

I can understand wanting to learn what type of aircraft you'll be on (which, in this case, is obvious), but why do you want to know which particular B6 320? I mean, if you keep a registry book or something, check it out while you're boarding. Perhaps you have a reason that I can't think of, but please say what it is, because I just don't understand.

Sorry, I haven't a clue and wouldn't even know where to look about this kind of info.

As a big fan of jetBlue, I have had the opportunity to fly on many different aircraft in the fleet. I just dont want to get the same one twice. It would be easier to know which one it was ahead of time ,so that if it was a duplicate, I would have time to switch it.

Unfortunately, this information is only available to jetBlue employees.

As well it should be. I'm sure there is no evil intent here, but in the current environment you can get yourself in hot water simply by asking the wrong question.
