Where Are Flyjet Getting Their 757s From?

Does anybody know where the Flyjet (http://www.flyjet.com) 757s are coming from? I have heard they are ex-MyTravel aircraft and are at Lasham now. Is this correct? Which aircraft are they, I didn't know MYT were disposing of any aircaft, surplus to requirements?
Also, when are Flyjet starting ops? The website says April, although I haven't seen any sign of them yet. Will it be in May in time for the summer season?
Any help and/or additional information would be appreciated.

I found it with those country will be flies out base from LGW & MAN:

Cyprus
Greece
Turkey
The Balearics
Spain
Portugal
The Canaries
Africa

Last I heard they were ex-BA aircraft and startup has been delayed until June.
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...

Must be some of the RB211-535E4 powered 75s that BA are shedding... (all but 9 of the E4s will be leaving... dont know which ones... but some of the G-CPE* ones have left... even tho they are the newer ones!)

Good to see BAs no longer needed 757s are finding new homes/

I wish the best to yet another new startup  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hmmmm thanks for the info so far guys. Like I said, I had heard, from another website they were ex-MYT machines and were at Lasham now. There is indeed a photo of MYT 757 G-PIDS at Lasham in March (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/337094/M/). Was this there just for maintenance. Like I said, I hadn't heard of MYT shedding any aircraft, and it probably is more likely to be ex-BA machines. Is stange BA are getting rid of the newer ones though, AMM had 2...!

I had a chat to one of our pilots last night, who is leaving for Flyjet (this was whilst in a pub after several pints of Stella... so please don't bash me if this is wrong!)

Now he thought the aircraft were ex-MYT, but yesterday was told that in fact the machines are supposedly ex-BA in the G-CPE* range. From what I hear, the latter sounds more correct but who can tell!

Yes AMM got -EU and -EV which are relatively new, but they also have -EP which is older.

It is all about current lease arrangements and costs, BA will have been paying higher leases on the newer aircraft which may be why they went to AMM. Also, their leases may have simply been scheduled to be renewed at a convenient time for both parties.
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...

The first 2 entered service in May 2002 and March 2003 respectivley. G-CPEV is still at Manchester being refurbished, it will be repainted at the end of this month and enter service in May 2003.

Given the expensive modifications required to utilise ex-BA aircraft for charter operations, they are not ideal candidates for a small charter airline that is just starting up. The upside for a larger carrier is that these are almost new aircraft in excellent condition, with low airframe-hours...
