DL seems to have completly restructured their use of MD90's this summer ... we now also have a daily DFW-MD90 here in SEA.

Yes, this is correct one of MD-90 service to DFW with daily rountrip. Also, there is another one of those flight out PBI to DFW on MD-90, too.

727LOVER,

Please do used for yourself download with Electronic Timetable. This is very good one of the those timetable on delta. Well, talk ya later!!

There are enough M90's thru TPA nowto constitute a post. All TPA needs on the DL side is SLC flights.

DL should reinstate its TPA-MSY-SLC flight with an M90 or a 738!

Yeah, we're getting them in JAX now too. It's a nice change  Smile

Yup! I flew Flight 1235 TPA-DFW on the 20th!

It's not really that much of a deal though, just some big fat airbus engines strapped onto a slightly stretched MD-88.

Well, and better brakes.

And an IFES...

FADEC...

Hydraulically augmented pitch control...

The cool strake above the horizontal stabilizer...

Vacuum-flush toilets...

2-3 seating swapped around...

Well, I guess it is kind of a big deal?  Smile

Doug, you make flying on the ol' Mad Dog sound exciting, or something  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Maybe I should try and book one of these suckers on my yearly trek out to DFW...

JAX has been getting the M90's for over 1 year now. They started flying them in there in the spring of 2002.

The Mad Dog's a great aircraft. The Boeing drivers think I have "Stockholm Syndrome" when I say that, but I enjoy flying the -88 and especially the MD-90.

If I had my way, we'd have dumped the -88's and purchased -90's instead.

Correct you are MSYtristar. DL should reinstate the SLC MSY TPA flight. There is a market for it. The flights were always full. The problem was it was operated with a 727. The MD90 or 738 would be perfect on the route and much more cost effective.

Speaking of the devil, I saw my first MD-90 today  Smile I was leaving work here at TPA and out on the end of 36L was a DL new colors preparing for take off. Hard to look at an airplane and negotiate a curve while driving. I am sure the people behind me must have thought I was drunk or something!  Big grin
Happens everytime I get near the airport.
It was nice to see a new variation in here. DL had a MD-11 in here last week as well. Must have been a sub for an ATL flight. It was in the middle scheme (Landor colors?).
I believe I can fly.....

I agree with each other about DL should need reinstate for nonstop from TPA-MSY-SLC flight on MD-90 flight. I think should be do fine for Delta. I'd saw MD-90 alot of FLL airport much. I'm flown on MD-90 for 2 times from DFW-SFO & DFW-FLL flight. Well, talk ya later!

Regards!

The MD90s always made the 737NG look like no big deal ... at least to me. I first got to fly on an MD90 a few years back on DL on the DFW-PBI run, and it just has so many of the much touted NG-like features like doug mentioned at so much less hype and exposure. Its a great aircraft. LOVE IT.
I've flown on 9V-SPK.
