Does anyone know what happened to this A300?

Looks like the left main gear collapsed on touchdown and as result the friction from the left wing scrapping on the ground caused fire damage and broke the engine.

However, it's not on a runway when you look closely. Was this caused by something else or was it towed to the side?

Well the aircraft was towed off to a siding out of the way. I can tell because of the way the emergency exit chutes are dragged. If the aircraft was not towed the chutes would not be under the aircraft. I see charing marks on the right side of the engine and wing suggesting a fire took place. And the gear is not fully in the belly of the craft saying that the gear probely did not fold down all of the way.
