From schedules on Singapore Airlines Limited's high quality website http://www.sia.com.sg
the Airline is to reduce schedules again in May 2003.
There will be one daily flight from Singapore to Hong Kong - SQ860 departing Singapore at 0830 and arriving at Hong Kong at 1215.
However, there are two return flights to Singapore departing at 1330 and 1830 respectively and arriving at 1705 and 2205 respectively with the flight numbers SQ859 and SQ865 respectively.
In addition, SYD
is currently seeing Jubilee 200 services which will return to normal Jubilee 300 services in May and on some days, SYD
will receive three MEGATOPS a day and then will have three Jubilee 300 services cut again or something, it's quite confusing when you can't be bothered.
SGN is downgraded to two 3TEN services a day instead of the two JUBILEE ER
/ one of each services before the capacity cuts.
Actually the scheduling is weird. I think the Airline is combining services. Shanghai PVG has one daily 773 flight in May from Singapore but has two flights coming out - the incoming 773 and a 772 from some place.
Anyway, we all hope and pray that the Airline pulls through this testing time with success.
I am also curious as to why wage cuts haven't been imposed upon all staff members.
Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.
