MEGEING AIRLINES

Thu Dec 24, 1998 7:46 am

IF YOU HAD THE POWER TO MERGE ANY TWO AIRLINES FROM ANY PARTS OF THE WORLD WHICH AIRLINES WOULD THEY BE? I WOULD CHOOSE TO EITHER MERGE BRITISH AIRWAYS AND UNITED(IT WOULD BE CALLED BRITISH UNITED OR UNITED BRITISH). OR I WOULD MEGE AMERICAN AIRLINES AND BRITISH AIRWAYS. I THINK THAT WOULD MAKE FOR ONE MEGA SIZED CARRIER OVER 1000 AIRCRAFT SERVING EVERY CONTINENT EXCEP ANTARCTICA!!! WHAT AIRLINES WOULD YOU MERGE?

I would merge United Airlines and Singapore Airlines with Silk Air. They would have the best fleet and route network but I would have a strong alliance with British Airways too.
