Question R/e ATA's L-1011's

Fri May 09, 2003 4:49 am

Any ATA folks out there know the seating capacity of your L-1011's--the full size ones, not the -500's? Even a ballpark number is fine. Since they're no longer in scheduled service I didn't see anything about them on ata.com.

Thanks!

The regular L-1011's have 362 seats.
From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California

Since we're on the 1011-topic ... ships 186 and 197 have now been parked at Roswell.
186 ferried in from Baltimore on the 5th and 197 from Miramar yesterday. Guess that's it for those two ...

I was ready to cry when they got rid of 197 (known to many as "Big Ed")...he's been parked before and returned. He's also been in the movie "Second Sight". I've flown on him a few times and someday will submit some of the cabin and flight deck photos I have. He was listed as my favorite aircraft on the "fav aircraft you've flown on" topic a week or two ago.
