Back in summer of '97, I heard rumors of PSA being resurrected. After much research, I found myself driving down to Carlsbad, CA. (about 40-50 miles north of San Diego) Sure enough, right there at Carlsbad Airport, there it was...the PSA headquarters... a rather sizeable office complex. I spent a couple of hours talking to an older gentleman (who claimed to be #3 in command of the company). We reminisced about the original PSA for quite awhile, and showed me an impressive collection of PSA paraphenalia. He also informed me that (the new)PSA was going to fly A320's on several of the old PSA's routes, starting in late '97/early '98. He even showed me a huge painting of what the A320's were going to look like, as well as the FAA application, or operating certificate, or whatever it was, as well as some preliminary brochures, and other miscellaneous odd's and ends. Obviously, here 2 1/2 years later, there are no PSA A320's flying up and down the Coast. I have never bothered to drive down to Carlsbad again. Can anyone supply any further info?
