Your Jetsgo Experiences?

Thu May 15, 2003 7:07 am

Hey all

I am taking advantage of that Toronto deal with Jetsgo from Newark, and was just curious to know if any of you could share any experieneces. There are only 1 or 2 TRs, which I have read, so I was hoping to get some more insight.

Thanks

Flew JetsGo back in January on the YVR-YYZ route. Since the airline is a LCC, the passenger receives absolutely nothing except for a seat on the Super 80. Legroom is actually half decent, and when sitting on the two side, is quite comfortable. Drinks and food can all be purchased inflight, and I did receive a free lollypop, but that could've been because the airline was still quite new. The flight was suprisingly ontime and the entire experience was quite good, except that the airline left 72 bags back in YVR due to weight restrictions. Fortunately I got my bags, but at least half of the plane didn't.

LOL...thanks for posting that link Grégoire. I had forgotten you had told me about that review. Ouch!

See you next time in Montreal...urr, I mean Toronto. Ahh, one of them places.

Cheers, Dripstick

PS. How did your pictures turn out from May 4th's meeting? Send me a couple.

Will we fly Jetsgo again? A resounding NO!!!!

How many times I heard a similar thing as a travel agent during the glorious days of Nationair.

Well, my bet is if the fares is $50.00 lower on Jestgo compared to the others.....We'll see her on a Jetsgo flight in the near future.

You probably read my Jetsgo trip report, so no point in reiterating it. Jetsgo is a good airline and I think you will enjoy your flight! They are known for having "interesting" days, and more so than other airlines, but they are resoundly very good in my opinion. I would fly them without any problems, and I want you to feel confident in Jetsgo as well!

Bah, I got nothing against SG, if you read the other reviews, they're all pretty good http://www.carsurvey.org/air/airline_Jetsgo.html, as I told you before... just some party's inside that company...

I did a same day YYZ YUL YYZ on them last fall. No complaints really, we left on time and came back on time, and the legroom was OK. For what you pay who can complain? (I had no checked luggage though.)
