Hello,
Do hubs, let's say Delta at ATL, generates traffic that can be used by other carriers; such as British Airways flying to London? Do airlines often capitalize passenger flow fed by other companies? Any tools to do so, besides interlining and code-sharing?

Great question! In my opinion I would think that the major alliances are so tight, that many airlines are pushed out of potential markets. I bet the number was much higher 15-20 years ago.

Depends on the alliance...the only reason the AF is at CVG is that they can get all of Delta's connection traffic to Europe. However, if DL/AF ended, then one of the routes to get an immediate axe would be CVG-CDG.
