Positives From Air Canada Restructuring

Tue May 20, 2003 12:39 am

I'm wondering if YYZ, YUL, YVR and other major Canadian airports will see an increase in foreign carriers taking up the slack from AC international route cuts, or if we'll just get increased feeders into major US connector hubs.

Any opinions?

Let's hope AZ will take over the YUL-FCO flights.

I would love to see ANA fly Nagoya to YVR.

Lufthansa would probally take over Calgary-Frankurt and hope full British Airways would takeover at least on of the two London services.

It would be cool to see Lufthansa back at Calgary. The first plane I ever entered was a Lufthansa DC-10-30 in Calgary which flew me to FRA. Well after all a daily Air Canada plane serving is just as fine to me...
