It looks more like the nose from an F-16, if you ask me.

Well if the 727 has a Concorde nose, it must be supersonic right?

I suspect it has at least SOMETHING (in terms of purpose) in common with this aircraft:

That guy, Joe Pries, has had more of his photos published in Aviation Week and Space Technology than you have fingers and toes...

Forgive the peanut galley Joe, that aircraft is a flying testbed for somebody...

I think N766UA was referring to the actual photographer, not Joe Pries.

fellows, i know, and im sure the guy knows its not a concorde nose. He said that jokingly and I simply copied it unto here not really giving it too much thought. If after photographing the concorde for 15 years i didnt know what it looks like or mistook it for an F16 or any other airplane for that matter, then it would be quite proper to call me an idiot, but that is not the case  Big grin

I couldn't tell that it was a F-16 nose instead of a Concorde nose  Sad I guess, according to NA766UA, I am an idiot  Sad

Here is another photo of the 757 testbed. I hope to take some better pictures of this plane once the weather turns here in Seattle.
