This is some very
interesting information. I had no idea whatsoever that Transmeridian was even considering starting scheduled service, even though their charter flight schedule was fairly consistant out of some airports over the last six months or so.
Looking at their web site, http://www.transmeridian-airlines.com/index2.html
, they have service between Sanford, San Juan, and Syracuse. Interestingly enough, the flights are listed as "Public Charters".. not exactly sure what this means.
Another interesting point; Transmeridian usually parks their aircraft at PSM, as opposed to paying the high ramp fees at BOS. They will operate an occasional charter out of Pease as well, I believe. They have been working closely with Pan Am Services (one of the PSM FBO's) for aircraft servicing, etc. I wonder what the whole SFB - SJU route will do to that relationship - unless Transmeridan and Pan Am have some plans together.
