FR Passenger Convenience

Fri May 30, 2003 4:07 am

I've been looking at today's online flight information for Ryanair and the reason given for the delay on one of their flights is stated to be 'Passenger Convenience'.Does anyone know what this could possibly mean?Could it be that a passenger or passengers didn't present themselves at the gate on time and Ryanair simply decided to wait for them?I don't think so!But I'd be intrigued to know.

I don't think so either. It would be labeled as "late arriving passenger" or something like that. Iv'e seen it before.

I have no clue about what "Passenger Convinience" could mean in this case. Maybe someone got ill?

It could be something to do with the carriage of an HUM (Human Remains) which are carried free of charge back to Ireland on FR.

Since when does Ryanair wait for late pax? That's a first I should think.

I do like LMML 14/32's idea of FR carrying something free of charge! However the relevant flights were between STN and Spain and France so I think we can rule that out. The mystery continues.
