BRU Spotters: Looking For A Reg And Company...

Mon Jun 02, 2003 8:47 pm

This saturday, while studying in the garden, I heard a rather unusual aircraftnoise in Brussels. I stood up and I saw a Il-76 landing. The topic says it all: is there somebody who was spotting at that tropical moment? Somebody can give me the company and the reg? What kind of flight was it? etc... All info about this one is welcome!

Regards,
Glider

Was it a white one?

In that case: UR-ZVB, of the United Nations.

Hey Glider, you may want to subscribe to the "Belavia" mailing list (in case you haven't done yet). http://groups.yahoo.com/group/belavia/ On this list various spotters are posting regularly the aircraft types & registrations of special visitors to BRU / OST and LGG. The good part of a mailing list is that the messages arrive automatically in your inbox, without you having to visit a particular website. Perhaps the spotting-list of www.luchtzak.be may have reported about this UN IL76 as well.
