Wow! LanChile and Aloha in the same day! I'm quite certain that Air France has been using the A330 to CDG for a while now. But those other two flights, I have no idea. I should go down to Island Avenue later.

The Lan Chile flight was yesterday night but I'm still surprised it was here Big grin.... But I'm 80% sure it must of been a Lan Chile Cargo 767-300. But still have no clue what Aloha is going to be doing here.

AF did use the 330 to PHL for about 2 weeks in March of 2001, but they've slowly been phasing out the 763's...I guess they must have finally taken out the last one,-GHGI, recently, and now we will be seeing 330's on a full time basis...

As for Aloha and LanChile...thats very unusual...I cant make it down today though to check it out unfortunately...

Greg

Edit: There is a thread further on down the forums confirming that -GHGI was taken out of service following yesterday's PHL-CDG flight...so its definitely full time A330-200 here for AF...

We certainly are getting a lot of interesting aircraft in lately. I wish I could get down there tonight and get a few shots of it. Someone's gotta be able to!!!!  Big grin

Crikey I meant March of 2002 for when AF served PHL with the A330 briefly...not 2001...just noticed that now...

I don't know what tracking site your pulling the info from?.. but I don't see that Aloha flight at all. Not planned or in the air. Nothing from CYVR to PHL today. It's possible there's a glitch. I've seen some pretty whacky stuff on certain flight trackers that never materialized.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for the PHL guys (and girls) but looks like this could be a glitch as Aloha (AQ) flight 491 is a the flight # for the scheduled YVR-HNL flight today, departure 1000am arrive 103pm.

V*AQ491/2JUN«
02JUN DPTR ARVL MEALS EQP ELPD ACCUM MILES SM
YVR HNL 1000A 103P B /B /B 73G 6.03 6.03 2706 N
DEP-MAIN TERMINAL ARR-INTER-ISLAND TERMINAL

I don't know for sure but I wouldn't think AQ would use "491" for both a YVR-HNL sked flight and "charter" to PHL??

Yep, just add an "N" to the code and you have Honolulu.
