Cargo Flights

Tue Jun 03, 2003 3:45 am

Hi all,

The question I am about to ask has been 'bugging' me for some time! When there is just a cargo flight, lets say from LHR to JFK(???) do the pilots get meals? Is there a flight attendent for the pilots?

Regards

Yes, they sure do (depending on the length of the flight).

Meals / snacks & drinks can be provided by the cargo airline itself or by external catering companies.

As far as I know, there isn't.

The meals are put onboard, however the pilots have to put and warm up their meals in the oven themselves.

No Flt attendants...... only if the crew are lucky enough to have someone in the jumpseats. But meals and drinks yes. If the flt is long enough. In my experience, the briefing on how to operate the owen and coffee machine, comes before the safety briefing !!! But it's alright... at least you have some "responsibility" too, operating the flt !!

Bon appetite
