AA 777 Question (pacific Or Atlantic)

Tue Jun 03, 2003 12:56 pm

Flight number 66 from DFW - ORD is a 777.

Is that the Pacific or Atlantic configuration.

Yes I know my dad would know, but he aint here.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think that it's an Atlantic 777 as the flight continues onto LHR.

They interchange them all the time. It can be really annoying because some PAX expect the Flagship Suites on the Atlantic version on flights from JFK-LHR, and they change them all the time.

By the way, F/A's prefer the Pacific version since they have crew bunks on them.

Best way to check is to go to www.aa.com, under the Reservations/Check Available Seats section, enter your flight number, date, and segment and the seat map can tell you whether it's the Atlantic or Pacific version (if C cabin goes up to row 13, it's the Atlantic version)

The flight is DFW-ORD-LHR all under one flight number. My best guess is it is an Atlantic configuration.

Why did AA decide to put two configs on their 777s anyway?

I understand with the cost cutting they are being changed to one configs?
