Want To Climb On Air Force One At BFI?

Wed Jun 04, 2003 1:48 am

I was talking to the company (whose name escapes me right now) that is detailing the old 707 Air Force One at BFI. One of the guys mentioned they are looking for volunteers to get together every 8-10 weeks to clean the old 707 inside and out. He made it sound like the crew would be all over the airplane.

If interested, I would head down to BFI and ask the crew chief about this, or maybe call the Museum. My wife and I recently had twins, so I don't think I can make a commitment right now.

It sounds like the company will be doing more work on the plane throughout the summer, he specifically mentioned repainting the nose.

The company name is "Attention To Details", they were still working on the plane as of last night.
