BA Concorde departs LHR on the BA001 at 18;30, arriving JFK around 17:20.
The BA002 departs JFK at 09:00.
This is how it is every day, but in August, since the 2001 re-launch, the Saturday BA001 is replaced by a flight to BGI, before both services would be run, however with most JFK flights full now, there could be a case for running both again, whether that will happen is unclear right now.

Surely you jest, just to tease us! Big grin

Two serviceable aircraft on the same day?

Sufficient trained and experienced engineers to service them both?

Now that would be a welcome turn of events - just like the old days.

Lovely phrase ...whether that will happen is unclear right now... but even that is more optimistic than the engineers over at V14 (sorry 414) the other day, who were a lot blunter in their assessment as they munched their way through our crew sandwiches!

I would, of course, be highly delighted to be proved wrong.

Best Regards

Yes, with 'Quarter Pounder' in charge of Engineering don't expect anything.
But we've had 3 serviceable A/C quite often lately, for decent periods of time too, it's so annoying as you think how easily we could fill some 'round the bay' charters, even at fairly short notice, rather than having the aircraft standing idle.
If we were still running 'proper' 10:30 BA001's you could use the standby once the 001 has gone.
I like the phrase our management use to explain why we are not doing more now demand is so great, they say they are 'nervous', which I translate as meaning 'I'm worried I might get the blame for running things down if the airline announce something we cannot actually deliver'.
