Comair CRJs

Mon Jun 09, 2003 10:12 pm

How many CRJs does Comair have in total?

Are all of their ops for Delta Connection?

What versions of the CRJ do they fly?

Also, anyone know the date that Delta dropped Atlantic Coast and gave all their short-hops to Comair?

96 CRJ 100
28 CRJ 200
11 CRJ 700

Total of 135 CRJ's

Yes, all of Comair's planes are operated for Delta Connection. Comair is wholly owned by Delta and the only other airlines that can "use" Comair planes are DL's codesharing partners.

DL has NOT dropped Atlantic Coast...I don't know where you got that idea. Atlantic Coast feeds DL's BOS mini-hub and feeds a variety of short-haul markets out of CVG.

I believe that Comair and ACA switched places at LGA around December, 2002.

Thank you both.

I knew that Delta dropped ACA at LGA sometime last year as I noticed no more 328 Jets coming in. Someoen had told me that they dropped ACA all together.
