Aircraft History Websites - I Need Help!

Thu Jun 12, 2003 5:11 am

Hello.

A while ago, a friend and I found a website where we could type in the registration of Cessna 152's that we had trained on (in Toronto, Canada), and find out each aircraft's whole history, such as year manufactured, type, model, previous owners, registration renewal dates and most importantly their current situation with regards to their location, ownership and if they're still flying.

Unfortunately I can't find the slip of paper that I wrote the web address on, and surfing the web has led me nowhere!  Sad

Does anyone know any websites that provide this type of info? If so, I'd really appreciate any help with this.

Also, are there any websites with similar info for both commercial & military aircraft?

Thanks,

Mr Spaceman, I don't have the answer for you but I would also love to know if there is a web site that this can be done on.

I have several family members who have had different float planes over the years and some of which were sold. I would love to track them to see where they are now.

Good Luck!

Sounds kinda like the Transport Canada website (obviously only works for Canadian registered a/c).

http://www.tc.gc.ca/aviation/activepages/ccarcs/en/current_e.asp?x_lang=e

Type in reg, click "Search", click on "History for this Aircraft" at top.

Hello LY744.

Thank You, very much Sir for that link.  Big thumbs up

It is the exact same website I found before, but then later on I couldn't remember the address.  Laugh out loud

Your help is very much appreciated!
