Unknown 763 Inbound To YUL

Mon Jun 16, 2003 4:06 am

An all-white, ex-Vietnam, 763ER, reg number N310AN, has left PAE bound for YUL. Can anyone tell me who this plane is intended for?

Could it be Zoom's 2nd 767??

ZOOM will be coming from Le Bourget. Arriving YOW June 19th and leaving ferry to EDI on June 24th. Back to YOW this coming fall for the winter charter program.

Any chance it could have been a leased out Air Canada 767 eturning home? I'm not familiar with any such leases but who knows.

It could be another Zoom B767. Is there a paint hangar at YUL?

There is no Zoom aircraft on the Canadian registry right now.

I saw it land, I was told it's an aircraft ex-TWA aircraft that will now fly for AC.

How many B-767 is ZOOM getting? Is it one or two?

That rings a bell. I read in Aviation Letter that AC is picking 1 or 2 ex-TWA 763's that are being returned to lessor by AA.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

This might be what will become C-GHPE... but I think that is expected to be ex TWA.... not ex Vietnam. Other than that, the only thing I think it could be is for maintenance work to be done at YUL.

If it came from PAE, it may have been the ex-Lequios 763 that was parked at Goodrich.. noticed it was gone when I was up there today. However there was another white 767 parked on the Boeing line ....

no, it isn't the Lequios bird, it is an ex-Vietnam aircraft.
