I don't imagine them adding any more planes beyond the six, ALL
of which they have had leases on for this whole time, if I am not mistaken. In other words, their 'expansion' so far has simply been to get to the point where they could use the six planes that they are already paying for.
Unless my understanding of this is very flawed (may well be), if it has taken them a year just to get to the point where it is economical for them to be using all six of the planes they were ALREADY paying for, it is unlikely that they are really making any money, and therefore even less likely that they will expand further. I hope I'm wrong, as I do quite like Canjet, but I just don't see any reason to think that they're doing all that well. My guess is that, like it was before C3
bought them out, this is a loss-making operation.
I can't remember when the leases are up on the 732's, but I think it might be next augut. (Someone, please correct me.) If so, i'm afraid it would not be all that unlikely to see the planes go back then. In other words, I think canjet may just voluntarily end itself. I hope I'm wrong!
Any more insight on this possibility?
Next flight.... who knows.
