PIA B747-300 At BOS On 20th June

Wed Jun 18, 2003 3:44 pm

PIA B747-300 will be arriving into BOS at 15:10 on Friday the 20th of June. PK715 is a regular commercial flight from LHE to JFK via MAN however this has now been routed as LHE-LHR-BOS-JFK to transport President Musharraf to Boston, who is presently in London. Another PIA flight PK718 on the 29th of June has been routed as JFK-TXL-ISB, instead of its usual stop in MAN, for the same reason.

Visiting his son in BOS again eh? And how convenient that he can "hijack" a PIA aircraft to visit his relatives!

Boy! These tinpot dictators do know how to live it up!

Better than chartering a plane exclusively for the visit.
.....up there with the best!

Is "hijack" meant to be a veiled reference to the entire Nawaz Sharif saga?  Smile If so, how ironic!!!

The sad part is that PK715 is normally operated by a 74M (AP-BAK or AP-BAT), and now because of the President it's gonna be a 743--so some poor bastard who PAID money for a PIA flight that was to be operated with a 743 is gonna get stuck with a combi!!!

On the flipside, "him hijacking a PIA flight" with REVENUE passengers still on board is better than hogging up an entire plane as Airmale stated--and i bet the flight won't stop in Zurich on the way home to Pakistan for any quick fund transfers, deposits or withdrawals  Big grin

TXL - Berlin Texel

PIA normally comes into Boston twice a year; President Musharref has a daughter in Canton, which is about a 30 minute drive down I-93 from Boston.

DeltAirlines: Are you sure he has a daughter here?? How do you know that? I only know of his son who lives around Boston and he is who our President comes to see.
I will try to find out where Musharraf is staying and maybe me and my friends can somehow visit him....he will be million times more accessible here then he will ever be in Pakistan

As far as the rest of the guys here...relax. So what if a few passengers would be inconvinienced this one time ..after all its the President onboard. Planes get diverted and delayed and cancelled all over the world for so many reasons and i dont think anyone should complain when the President of their country is onboard.

FYI

PIA VIP flights are operated by two qualified VIP captains.
