Return Of An Angel From Nuns' Inferno...

Thu Dec 09, 1999 9:30 am

Hello everyone!
I'm back again, after 2 months of pure hell at my school (a catholic school, see the topic, those nuns aren't real btw  ). My finals are over, I'm just waiting for the results, but I know I will get more than 2 subjects to recover my grades: physics and math (until today)....
Well, I'm a little off-topic, so, I will make my comeback by asking a question:
Is SWA the airline of the "money-less" people. Because I noticed on the posts about SW that they are the K-Mart of the skies... (that's funny btw...  )
Another quetion and I will use as an example, although I got A+ on my english test, my english is not good today
* Should I say that, for example, American Airlines, Delta and United are airliners for the people with more economical possession? And that SW and ValuJet (now dead) are/were airlines for people with less money?
I hope you guys understand my question...

Tomorrow (Dec. 9) is my 18th birthday   just to let you know

You english are good! Mine are bad...   Just kidding...

SWA seems to be portrayed as the "Grayhound of the Skies." However, that is a wrong implication. The thing that makes most people balk at SWA's image is their 'free-for-all' seating arragements. By that I mean that people are free to pick what seats they want. SWA realized that the herd mentality could work in their favor.

I also think that people hold the established carriers (UAL, AA, Delta etc.) in high regard. They believe, wrongly, that people are somewhat higher in the classes if they travel with those two airlines. However, what they don't realize is that those that travel on SWA are the same as you and I.

Also, most of people say is untrue. It's just the 'word-of-mouth' advertising that SWA has engaged in, has become a tad bit warped.

Oh... congrads on enduring 'hell week' or 'hell month'! Congrads on that A+. Eventhough English is my primary language, I don't think I could ever get an A+ on any English grammer test!!!!

Well... good luck and Aim for the Sky!

...Are there any K-Marts in Brazil.....?
Happy Birthday To you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you've ever been to a K-Mart department store...
It might make a little more sense to you what we're talking about, Miss Julie,,,most of this is just trying to be funny,,,but there are some items that SWA does that would remind you of having been in a K-Mart.

Besides, Herb Kelheller owns SWA,,,,hence the K-Mart
moniker. Right?

I don't think people here really think that AA/Delta TWA,NWA UAL are better,,,it's just a matter of choice,,,,I think the whole K-Mart airways thing is just for fun here...tho I'm sure I'll be corrected and bashed by someone .........

Welcome Back...

Congrats on your exams!

Now I may be a little off, but I don't think that the people flying ANY US airline are ELITE anymore Deregulation has made ALL the airlines lower standards, as well as fares, and in certain markets, on certain days, you should be able to fly the 'Big Four' for only a little more than SW or AirTran Does this mean the pax are better off financially? Not really

I have read a book titled "The Millionaire Next Door" The jist of the book is that there are a lot more millionaires than people realize, but they are millionaires because they DON'T buy the BMW or the $5 million house, they live simply and save their money

In short, you might find many more "rich" people on a SW flight than on a big four!
