UA: Adding B744F?

United Airlines might restart United Cargo this fall with leased-in B747-400F to be operated over the Pacific.

This was reported in Cargo News Asia.... I think they said they will lease them rather then operate their own freighters. My guess is Atlas.... not like there is many others!!

It would seem that Atlas Air would be the first company in line to win this contract. Let the cargo business start slowly again with leased in 747-400Fs and then if it takes off buy your own or convert some of your older 747-400 pax models.
