On my business ethics class in the American University in DC, the professor asked us to identifiy a specific company and discuss their social issue and how they are involved with the society and what incidents that have happend and almost destroyed their image. we chose southwest, me and my group. the paper went along fine. however, tomorrow is the presentation, on a short notice, i drove an hour from northern VA to BWI
less than 24 hours before the presentation is due. as soon as i told them i am a student and showed them the written part of the project, immediatly i was escorted through security with a customer service supervisor, i got all these stacks of napkins, snacks and plastic cups that has southwest logo on them, and the nice attitude from the employees, i was even taken on board of one of the airplanes before it boarded just to pickup couple of peanuts. Wow.. that is really amazing for a company to be such a wonderful and helpful company. Way to go southwest!
