What Airline Is This?

Thu Jun 26, 2003 3:38 am

I took a picture of a partially painted 737 yesterday that I cannot identify. Only the rudder is painted, and it is a teal green or blue, with the end of white triangle pointing upwards. Again, only the moving rudder is painted, like the Alaska 739 below.

Any ideas?

That is definitely an Alaska Airlines 737. Probably a 737-900....

Okay, I wasn't very clear with my question I guess. The Alaska 739 picture posted is only to show how much of the plane I am asking about is painted. The plane I saw is NOT an Alaska Airlines plane. Am I making sense?  Smile

Any other ideas?

Found it. The mystery airline is Westjet.

Could it be WestJet?

I work for Southwest, but the views expressed are my own and do not necessarily represent those of Southwest.
