Need Help With DL 777 Biz Seats.

Thu Jun 26, 2003 1:12 pm

Finally in August I get to lose my 777 virginity....and with a one way price from ATL-MCO just under $250 in Biz, I couldn't pass it up. Now, where is the best seat to get shots of inside the engine and down the wing (and the time of flight is around sunset.  Big grin ) As of now I am booked in 04J....I was temped to do 10J though. Any comments or suggestions welcomed!

I think you are going to be fine in row 4....

Anything after 7 or eight, if it is anything like Continental 777's, you are going to be staring at yourself in the reflection of the engine.

Justin, having never rode on a 777 myself, I would say in general it's best to sit as far forward as possible to get shots with the nacelles visible. Row 4 doesn't seem a bad choice though.

Personally however, I always try to side on the left (A/B) sides of the aircraft.

Well on the DL seat map (and seatguru.com), it goes from 1-4 (there is half of a row 5 being AB-CD i think), but 5A doesn't have a window. Then you have a galley, then row 10-14 I believe. I wanted to sit on the right hand side to get sunset shots anyways as we approach Orlando.

I am afraid if I am too far infront of the engine, I won't be able to get good shots. Thanks for the feedback so far.
