B707-458 4X-ATA Whereabouts?

Sat Jun 28, 2003 6:52 am

Is the cockpit section of El Al B707-458 4X-ATA still aboard the Intrepid? I last saw the artifact on a barge next to the carrier and was wondering whether she was returned to the collection.

As much as i heard, it isn't.
it was confirmed by an EL AL 777 pilot yesterday (but he also says that that is "as much as he knows")..

In the past, EL AL pilots could get free passes to the museum, and they can't no more, so it might imply it's not there anymore.

cockpit? it's that little room in the front of the plane where the pilots seat.. but that's not important now
