N707JT At London - Luton

Mon Jun 30, 2003 8:05 am

I was at LTN last Friday and amongst a few BBJ's and several other smaller Business jets there was John Travolta's 707 parked. Still in the old Qantas livery.
Does anybody know if it was there for because his rich owner had an appointment in London or is the plane serviced there?

Is there any information available if it will keep the Qantas livery for much longer?

Any information appreciated.

If he was onboard he's been a busy little boy. Saw him at SimuFlite DFW for recurrent a week and a half ago. Nice guy, signed autographs.

The engines were covered so I guess the plane was to spend a while there.
Does the plane also go on tours without it's owner?

JT was pictured in the British press today with Prince Charles-I have no idea why but it explains why the 707 was in town.

It departed LTN for KEF on Saturday evening (28th). It flew at FL280 as it is not RVSM approved. And yes, JT was on board.

What a great toy  Smile
