Airbus New Plane!

Sat Dec 11, 1999 7:55 am

last night at like five thirty in the mourning i was watching the news and it was comparing airbus and boeing and saying that now for the first time airbus has come in ahead of boeing. they also said that airbus is coming out with a duble decker plane with TWO stories! it will hold like double the amout of people as boeings 747! i think that that is awesome!! they showed a mock drawing simulation of it it has like six doors on just one side! they are going to start making it within two years. it will cost like a billion dollars. dont you think that is just awesome!!! wow!! five hundred people on one plane, how cool! have any of you also heard this?? just cant get over how cool it would be fly on it!!

Ah!!!
And the most important: there's an impressive technical report about the A3xx, including versions A3x5R, (A3xx-50R) A3x1 & A3x1R, (A3xx-100 and 100R) and A3x2.
This is to be played with Adobe Acrobat, but if you do not have it, the system downloads it for you.

Hey 1stClassFlyer - let's not forget that (not that I am biased) a 747 has carried 1079 people on one flight. (El Al during the Ethiopian Crisis.) Wouldn't fancy waiting for the loo on that one.
