Freedom Flights

Sat Dec 11, 1999 9:44 am

I am wondering if anyone knows more indepth about the freedom flights that are run.

What I am refering to are the one way flights from various places that bring oppressed or persecuted jews back to their homeland.

There are charities that operate these flights (which are operated on El Al planes)

Any pros or cons about this or info?

I would think that some of the US's commercial airlift when evacuating after losing the war in 1975 would also have set some records but I don't have the stats to prove it.

Oh well, sue me

Naimas, many international carriers here in Europe make this flights ; for France you have Air France, AOM, Corsair... Those flights are charter flights, chartered by charity organisations like "Médecins sans Frontière" whose web site you should consult.
Regards.
