Germania Express will from August launch a 1 x Daily Berlin TXL-Glasgow Prestwick route, using F100 a/c.

They have chosen Prestwick, because of the High fee's at Glasgow International.

Some more good news for the Scottish Aviation industry.  Smile

Great news for Prestwick and the Scottish tourist trade! I'd be intrigued to see the interior of the F100s. Certainly bring back memories of great flights on F100 with AirUK, before they were well and truly "KLMed".

From all the airports I have been to PIK would be the last one I would want to serve with my airline. I think it's good enough for Ryanair but I guess the fees really must have been enticing. The more important question will probably be how long Gexx will survive to even serve Glasgow. There are many that do not give that airline too much of a lifetime.
