Is there such a thing as a 747-200 with a glass cockpit?

No, but KLM is installing EFIS cockpits into their 747-300's that fall just short of 'glass', but nevertheless are a vast improvement to the 'regular' 743 cockpit.

The reason I asked was because in the movie Turbulence, the plane with the madman aboard appears to have a glass cockpit. The ATC said it was a 747-200 and the needed to find another 747-200 pilot. They got a guy from Tower Air whose cockpit also appeared to be glass. His name was Capt. Boeing.

That film had me in fits of laughter - particularly when the Jumbo was flying upside down and the autopilot kept switching itself on and off with voice commands to boot! I guess artistic licence allows the filmmakers to harmonise the various forms of 747 - they did the same in Executive Decision - 747-200 on the outside, but cockpit of a 400 - guess it makes the film more exciting! Nothing however beats Karen Black taking control of a good ol' classic 100 in Airport '75. Remember the tongue????!!!
