Thanks for posting that N754Pr, I never got round to it!!

The 744 looks like it has a N- reg, and I saw it outside the SQ catering building where the DC8's final resting place was. A few days later I saw it outside the SQ hangars.

On another point, what happened to the ex-Lion Air A310 that was where the DC8 was? Was that scrapped, or is that the white A310 with the blue tail now outside the SQ hangars? If not, what IS the A310?

Would be nice if the reg followed the other 4 744s and made it N755PR. Big grin Is the -400 painted in PR colors yet by any chance?

Is this a 747-400 from SIA´s fleet? Heard they wanted to sell or park 5 early 744s.

They can't use N755PR as its a Cessna 172. N750PR and N756PR are free.... I think.

So... ...is this fifth 744 for Philippines an ex-SIA aircraft or not?

sorry guys.... but im kinda doubting that this is the 5th 744 for PR

I don't think that PR would ever operate a PW powered 744 since most of there engineering in MNL does GE, so why let somebody else do it when you can do it yourself at home for cheap?

But I could be wrong.

maybe a few more days would reveal which aircraft it is.

could it be a state visit by Arroyo Macapagal? Though that would be a huge aircraft to take to SIN.

The engine issue is there - but Malaysia was and especially Qantas is an example for airlines who are not fixed to one type on their 744 fleets!

I guess knowing how Filipinos run their business, Im still a big doubter with regards to this PW powered 744.

I dont think PR will do the same as its neighbors MH and QF.
