AS 737 Go-around At LAX.... Everyday!

Thu Jul 10, 2003 4:05 pm

On Monday, an Alaska 737 was coming in on 24R at LAX. I noticed that they were using 24L AND 24R for take-offs. As I did, the AS 737 pulled up its gears and flew straight over 24R all the way down the runway at about 200 feet altitude. It then turned north and re-entered the pattern.

On Tuesday, the runway was clear, and the same flight did a go-around. Same thing. Pulled up gears, flew down 24R at 200' and turned north. No reason for doing so at all.

Today, it did it again! No reason! It was a 2:30pm landing and flew right on down the runway.

What's going on?!?!?!
