Spotting Trip To SXM

Sun Jul 13, 2003 3:18 pm

I was wondering if I should try a spotting trip to SXM. Are people still allowed on the beach under the landing path? Is this something I could get in trouble for? Should I tell the immigration officer "I'm here to watch planes from the beach and then I'm going right back home" when I arrive?

When I was in SXM last September it was still allowed to walk and swim at the beach. This topic has been discussed quite a lot before. Just search the forum.

About your question concerning the immigration officer. Just tell him you are on vacation. He won't be interested in what you are doing exactly.
