Audio On US Airways

Tue Jul 15, 2003 12:32 pm

What is up with the audio channels on US Airways? On my recent flights on the A319/320 the audio channels have no programming. There is a movie but no music. Last year when i travelled on them, there was. Anyone flew domestic/caribbean recently on US?

The service is starting to leave a lot to be desired.

I have no guess is to cut costs. Somebody started another thread & it seemed like there was no apparent reason given. I hope there'll be music on my 767 flights to Europe in November...that's part of the fun of the IFE!  Angry

Audio Entertainment is only available on 767 aircraft now, I have no idea why, but that's what they are doing. Video entertainment is still available on longer 320 family, 757 and A330 flights.

Earlier this year I went to The Bahamas on US Airways. I went on both a 757 and an A320 and didn't have any music on any of those flights. I only had a movie on the 757. I think that if they are not playing a movie, they should play something similar to Delta's least that! I paid good money, I wanted something!
