747-200 Upper Deck Doors

Mon Dec 13, 1999 9:03 am

How come some 747-200s have 1 upper deck exit and some have 2? I was at O'Hare today, and I saw two UA-200s. One had a door on the right and left sides, and the other had only one on the right side. No, I didn't see a -200, because United retired their last one in September. Why the difference.

Sorry, I mean I didn't see a -100, as United retired their last -100 in September.
