What 744 At OKC This Evening?

Wed Jul 16, 2003 2:53 pm

I was driving this evening in north Oklahoma City and I noticed a 747 on approach to Will Rogers World Airport. I believe it was a 747-400. From a distance it looked like it had winglets, but I may be wrong. I'm most definite it was a 747 though. Anyone know who it belongs to and what it was doing here?

I did notice that an AWAC 707 followed in the same pattern right behind it, but then made an easterly turn toward Tinker AFB whereas the supposed 744 continued south to Will Rogers.

Well, I know there is an Ex-NW 747 at OKC, donated by NW to a school there..
