Read the legend, first of all it's not a King but an Emir, and CJA is not a VIP aircraft but a commercial one, isn't it ? I don't undestand for colour scheme, there's only one QR livery, so why was he not satisfied ?

Thanks for help.

It sounds to me as tho the 319 is simply being repainted again in the same livery...perhaps there was excessive fading or peeling with the initial paint.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

As you said it is an Emir and not King and yes A7-CJA is a commercial non-VIP aircraft. The configuration is 8J/102Y and will be used initially between DOH and SVO and then TIP and ZRH in the future. It will also be joined by A7-CJB in 2004 or 2005.

It could be something to do with the quality of the previous paint job such as fading, peeling and type of paint used. It happens on new aircraft too (e.g. Qantas A330).
