Skymiles - How Is It Doing With The Modifications?

Sun Jul 20, 2003 2:05 pm

As you all know, Delta overhauled its Skymiles program recently - primarily with regards to the attainment of medallion or elite status. So how is it being received, and how are they doing with it so far? Does anyone know of any other airline with similar plans?

Also as a side thought, how will it work with the DL/NW/CO alliance. Do NW and CO reciprocate with similar rules, or do their policies for accruing miles from DL flights stay the same as it would be while flying their own flights?
I've flown on 9V-SPK.

Nope; if you fly DL on a T/U/L fares a credit it to WP or OP, you'll receive only .5 EQM per mile flown.
