Advice to people offering help: NEVER tell a New Yorker to take a flight out of ISP
. Do you know how difficult it is to get out there?
Cabs are a million dollars, Long Island Railroad isn't the greatest service, and there's no other public transportation. I don't even think they offer long-term parking there, so driving for a flight is also out of the question.
I have friends from Cali that come to NYC on Southwest through ISP
. The money they save on tickets ends up just going to a cab anyway. It's a waste.
Delta or AA
will be the best bets. But look into Continental also.
