News On Air Namibia A340?

Thu Jul 24, 2003 11:20 pm

Does anyone know if Air Namibia is still on track to receive two A340s later this year?

Remarkably, their 744 is very stable now, and the livery of the 744 hasn't been touched since it re-entered service: (photo taken on July 19)

No news so far from the sources I checked. "Airliner World" is also mentioning that they are planning to introduce two A340. Highly unrealistic if you ask me...
One of their WDH-FRA runs will be extended to London Gatwick, Heathrow wasn't available anymore.
