A Naked Swiss A340

Fri Jul 25, 2003 12:10 am

Yesterday, a Swiss A340 with only its tail painted, flew around Toulouse for several minutes.

But, unlike girls, I prefer when the aircraft is properly dressed. Big grin

Rudders are always painted first as they have to be at their final weight and balance before testing gets under way (unlike girls  Laugh out loud)

I didn't know that, UTA_flyinghigh. Thanks

When is it scheduled to be delivered to SWISS?

Cheers

When did Swiss start using these to Dubai? I saw one there on the 17th or 18th July.

In fact, ZRH-DXB was the first scheduled Swiss A340 flight I think, and still DXB/KHI/MCT are the only destinations that see the A340 regularly (occasionally they use the A340 for flights to LOS/ACC).

Yesterday afternoon the a340 flew to DEL (Dehli).

I was invited to board Swiss' new a340 yesterday as well. I must say, at first i did not like the design and colors of the new seating from the photos i saw online, but after seeing them in person the seats seem very warm and comfortable. You guys should see the camera under the nose of the aircraft, its pretty cool!

cheers
